- All Men's 4s / All Women's 4s Bring Your Your Team option! Assemble your squad of 4 amigos and amigas for an all guys or all girls exciting night of play in a rare format. Or be a free agent! Sign yourself up and we'll make a team if we have 4 of you! - Nets lowered to women's height for the women's court - 4 teams of each sex taken Prizes for the team champions of each Sex Friday, date 6:15 check in / 6:45 pm first game we wrap up right about 12:00 am 3 pool play games + double elimination bracket playoffs 5 games minimum guaranteed pool play games to 21 / (cap 23) playoff games to 21 / no cap $30 per player / $120 per team Prizes with a full field: 1st place team of each sex wins 4 free tourney vouchers, worth $120 and good for 8 weeks Welcoming all players B minor level and Up You must: - Understand the full rules of clean play - Have some organized volleyball experience - Be able to control the ball consistently - Be mobile: able to move efficiently and get to the ball well (i.e. - you aren't limited to passing balls that land in your lap.) - Have the endurance to play 7-10 games for 6 hours straight - Deep sand in the play area, lovingly maintained - Clean and even coverage LED lighting - Ball catch netting all around perimeter with 16 house balls spread around (you never have to go chase balls) - Righteous vibes, groovy music, good times. - Full bar just steps away with draft beers, mixed drinks, bottled beer and beer and Long Drink buckets at excellent prices. - Court side seating all around at bar and Adirondack chairs on the sand - Coolers with NON-alcoholic drinks are always A-OK at Elks Island. - Doggies on leash with good boy owners also A-OK and most welcome.
