Some Rules
Big and Little Kahuna flights = full clean rules of beach volleyball expected
(lifts/carries, double contact, open fingered spinny-slop, pushes, throws are all FUGLY stuff)
Little Kahuna flight house rule
- Hands Fly Free Hand SETTING:
Hand sets that STAY on your team's net side will not be judged/called for spin/double contact or lift.
This special house rule is ONLY for hand sets clearly being put up for a hitter - it does not mean jungly-ball open season for anything.
Fun Kahuna flight: relaxed rules
The C/Rec flight will permit grubby play (lifts, pushes, throws upward, double contacts, sloppy sets)
- Net contact IS not allowed
- Teams may have up to 6 players on the sand
(1 female needed for a team of 4 or 5, 2 females needed for a team of 6)
Prizes
TBD - decided by how many teams are in each division,
and if we have enough for a third playoff group.
*We typically feature new balls, hoodies, shirts/tanks, Thermoflasks, bags, towels etc for 1st and 2nd, sometimes 3rd too.
