Six Rocky Point flights to choose from:
A - BB - B Major - B minor - C - Rec
A - BB - B Major - B minor - C - Rec
There's a perfect spot for every team level
We try to stay hands off, but we do need to monitor the flights.
Please understand that while we want to make your team happy, and try to say OK,
we have every team in a flight to keep happy.

We've settled on a remedial little voodoo formula for scoring teams, as a guide.
We welcome teams offering us their opinions on player rankings, as we learn and adjust our gauges often.
Just understand that we may or may not see it just like you.
And it does come down to our personal judgment in the end - the final call is on us, as we strive to be fair and ethical.
Remember things that are not relevant to playing down:
"We're just going have fun." (Everyone is going to just have fun).
"We're going to be drinking": (Everyone is going to be drinking, lol.)
"Player X is coming off of an injury". (Uh-huh. We have to go by them on paper.)
"Player Y hasn't played in 9 months". (Uh-huh. We have to go by them on paper.)
"Last time you let so-and-so play in B minor." (Uh-huh. Might have been a mistake; we try to not make those.)
TEAM SCORING (adding all 4 player scores together)
A = above 17 pts
BB = 14-17 pts
*BB & B Major are combined for pool play. Then for playoff brackets, teams are separated into Gold (BB) and Silver (B Major) from pool play record results
B Major = 10.5-13.5 pts
B minor = 7-10 pts
C = 6 pts max
Rec = judged yay or nay
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER SCORING
male AAA = 6
male A player = 5-5.5 / female A player = 4-4.5 (depends on the player)
male BB player = 4 / female BB player = 3.5-4 (depends on the player)
male B Major player (Solid B) = 3 / female B Major player = 2.5-3 (depends on the player)
B minor players both sexes (Junior B) = 2
C players both sexes = 1
Rec players = 0

LEVEL DESCRIPTIVES
A flight
The best teams - top of the food chain.
Would you be insulted if we called you BB for a draw? Yea? Then come on.
Take the challenge and play in the sandbox that fits you.
*Limit one AAA level male player per team - no exceptions.
If this is school, you're the senior high school class.
BB flight
You're tweeners. You're too good to be trying to squeeze into those "B" pants, c'mom, man.
But ok, you're not likely to beat many true A teams unless you play the perfect game.
Here's your scene - step up, don't hide in B.
If this is school, you're high school freshmen and sophomores.
B Major
Controlled, competent Solid B players.
Maybe you're 80% effective hitters, maybe you're not the most effective blockers every time.
You are the Hawkeyes and Falcons of the Avengers.
If this is school, you're 7th graders, in all of puberty's glory.
B minor
B Lite. B Junior.
You've got the basics down, you know what to do...you just mess it up inexplicably
every few plays. You can hang in a Funk B draw, you're just the weaker players.
If this is school, you're elementary 4th & 5th graders.
You understand the full clean rules of play.
Hands fly free in B Minor - no hand sets called as long as they stay on your net side.
C flight
For novices who are rockin' past Rec now.
If Rec is in diapers, you're potty trained, starting kindergarten.
No more monkey ball, you know the rules, you want to play bump, set. spike.
But your game is still very much developing.
Maybe you have a couple players you want to be gentle with.
Hands fly free in C - no hand sets called as long as they stay on your net side.
REC
You're here for the beer, baby.
Minimal rules just for safety.
Funk On and just don't hurt each other.
