Funkalicious Beach is thrilled be a part of this remarkable, new annual Arizona beach volleyball festival from the vision of Mike Hawkins of Grayhawk Beach and the valley's own Professor X - Sir Tom Witt.
Spanning 12 days, Beachfest showcases the first ever Arizona assemblage of cool volleyball camps, clinics and tournaments in the desert, for both adult and junior players. Join us INDOORS in the heat of the summer(!!!) at the Equidome Arena at WestWorld in north Scottsdale to indulge in the bliss of climate-controlled cool comfort, 1200 tons of deep sand, top notch net systems, high ceilings, box seating near the action, a full cash bar and food service, and exhibitor booths. Don't miss this exciting valley first. You'll play 4 pool play games with 4 other randomly paired couples on teams of 4.
Teams get 2 games on the Cowboy net + 2 games on the Cowgirl net
Bracket playoffs
Following pool play, each couple is seeded by their record.
Couple finishing #1 & #2 join to form 4s team seed #1...couples 3 & 4 become team seed #2, and so on.
This is your first saddle ride at roping team success.

Men & Women both get to draw and shoot! - Half the nets = men's height for Straight Coed 4s - Half the nets = women's height (8 inches lower) for Reverse Coed 4s *(Only the cowgirls may hit & block in Reverse Coed - cowboys play D and set) This holds true for pool play AND bracket playoffs How does your posse hold up under both net challenges? |
