Fun Is Number One
Come join us for a Saturday of trademark Funkalicious camaraderie, good vibrations, volley-fellowship, maybe catch a buzz and a suntan, too. All Rec light rules - just the usual Funk Rec non-heavy stuff for safety - No net contact - Players must stay on their side of yard under the net (control of the body) - No throwing the ball for a point or attacking the serve - Players must rotate to each position each serve change Other than that, we pretty much leave you to the fun. |

FORMAT
- Eight (8!) pool play games (to 15 points each) Round robin - every team plays each other - Double elimination bracket playoffs (games to 15-18 depending on time) - 9 games minimum guaranteed - Max of 9 teams taken - $150 a team Female player rules - 4 males can play without a female on the sand - 5 males = need 1 female on the sand - 6 males = need 2 females on the sand Groovy Prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams Courtside BBQ grill fired up and cranking out tasty wares all day long for players |
