The following will be OK and not called:
- Lifts & carries
- Pushes and throws
- Double contacts
- Sloppy sets

What is NOT allowed and is called:
- Net contact (any net contact) FOR SAFETY
- Under net opponent contact (any opponent contact)
- Blocking or spiking the serve back (called "attacking" the serve)
- Pushing/throwing the ball DOWNWARD (like a slam dunk)
